"FRA?LEIN REVOLTECH," is the name given to a new dimension of Revoltech created and sculpted by the brilliant Enoki Tomohide, using an innovative and newly developed joint/body system known as "E.L.F." This new concept (E.L.F.) allows the figure to demonstrate a large variety of realistic poses unlike any other PVC action figure. "Rei Ayanami" is a fictional character and one of the three primary protagonists from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, its accompanying manga, and the films Evangelion: Death and Rebirth and The End of Evangelion. She is the First Child (First Children in the Japanese version) and pilot of Unit 00. "Fra?lein Revoltech Rei Ayanami" is the first character/figure to be released as a part of "FRA?LEIN REVOLTECH." The figure is 6" tall and comes equipped with interchangeable accessories/parts (1 lance of longinus, 2 set of hands and 1 display base).

This figure has an incredible range of movement and poses. The detail is astonishing and the paint job seems to be well done. My only complaint is the fact is she is rather delicate, her right arm and leg fell off when I removed her from the packaging. The stand for her seems a bit cheap but is functional. But despite these things, I really found myself drawn to this figurine and have it on display next to my TV.
If you are an NGE fan, this is one figure you must have.

The figure itself looks decent, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to pose it because the slightest wrong move makes her ARM fall off. The arms are extremely fragile, I ended up giving up and displaying her in the box before I caused any real damage to the figure.

The only major problems I've had with this product is the arms. The right elbow joint constantly falls off, so I have to hold it in place while posing her. The left arm has come off completely a few times. Both problems are easy to fix, it's just irritating.
Those two irritations aside, this is a great figure. She has a great range of motion, with many different pose options. As another review pointed out, the stand is very basic--nothing more than a base, a solid black stick, and a slightly bent piece that goes on top of the stick, with the semi-transparent piece to hold the figure at the waist. The paint job is wonderful, especially the subtle highlight to her hair.

I have been into anime and manga for a long time now. I have wanted a very detailed and easily manipulated figured for less than 50 bucks for a while now.
This figure of Rei is just what I was looking for. It is to pose her for drawings. She is very detailed without being overly curvy and without being too stiff. I put her on my printer, and I enjoy looking at her while I work on my story.
If you like the series or just want an anime figure to draw inspiration from, get Rei.
